Legendary Bison Bulls

In several credible sources,  I have read there was famous bison bull or bulls in history, that weighed 3000lbs. Buffalo Jones claimed his Jumbo weighed 3000, but did he? I think 2400 is pretty common for a huge bull. In fact, ‘Demise” aka Mr Big was such a bull, while he was living. I believe “Willy” in south Texas, is also 2400lbs. The most common bison bull weight would be 15-1800lbs.  I have found not only one bull, but two, that weighed a little over 3000lbs, who lived in a very recent history.
